PAUL LATE introduces the fantastic BRIAN DAMAGE and KRYSTAL as headliners on 26th October 2009 with the equally brilliant DANIEL SIMONSEN, JULIAN DEANE, JOEL DOMMETT and HANNAH WARMAN in support.

On the last Monday of July 2009, Paul successfully survived the brutal GONG SHOW at THE COMEDY STORE, getting through to the final 5 acts in the clap-off. The brilliant deservedly RICHARD BROPHY wins it. Technically, this is July's news but what the hell. . . No one's reading this anyway. If you are: thanks!

Fix Films announce PREMIERE screening of ELEPHANT TRUNK (2008) - Fix Films' 5th short film - on Friday 13th February 2009.
ELEPHANT TRUNK is a comedy-romance set over one strange night and morning in the life of MATT SHERRY (Tom Frederic). Following a drunken celebration Matt ventures home; but he's about to suffer the hangover of a lifetime!

ELEPHANT TRUNK lurches into post-post-post production. . . after a variety of procrastinations (war, famine, pestilence among them) Gary is now adding the finishing touches i.e. end credits and music to Fix Films' 4th film ELEPHANT TRUNK. Check out the short film festivals in 2009 when we begin whoring and pimping it around the circuit.

JACK AND DANNY: TWO cops and ONE big dilemma. Shooting of Fix Films 5th short JACK & DANNY wraps - woo-hoo! A two-hander starring Chris Crocker and Philip Wolff; this character comedy concerns two cops called, coincidentally enough, Jack and Danny on a stakeout . The nervy Danny (Chris), is about to get married, but is in a bit of a pickle! So, he seeks advice from his best mate; the world-weary Jack (Philip Wolff).
